This volume aims to shed light on the complex social, cultural, environmental, and political dynamics involved in safeguarding, recognising, and enhancing allotment gardens and community agriculture, particularly within metropolitan peripheries. We look forward to receiving contributions that offer critical, interdisciplinary, and grounded insights into these vital urban landscapes.
