Food Heritage Dialogues
Food Heritage Dialogues (FHD) is a novel combination of different forms of participatory engagements which blends food and culinary oral history, public dialogues and storytelling to activate inclusive and sustainable conversations among communities, stakeholders, and policymakers.
Through engaging forums and workshops, FHD places food heritage at the heart of public discourse, tackling current and future challenges related to tourism, environmental sustainability, local production, memories and imaginaries. Orchestrated as a collaborative conglomerate, FHD will take place in Lofoten and Coimbra. With a focus on empowering local populations and key stakeholders, which are both target groups and participants, FHD will bolster social cohesion and ecological care, while becoming an adaptive blueprint for similarly challenged regions.
