Fernando Garcia Dory

Fernando Garcia Dory, INLAND founder and director, holds degrees in Fine Arts and Rural Sociology, (UNED) , MA on Agroecology and PhD candidate on Art and Agroecology. In 2004 he  started the Shepherds’ School and has developed projects and shown his work at Tensta Konsthall, Van Abbe Museum, SFMOMA, Documenta 12 and Biennales of Gwangju and Athens. He was granted the Socially Engage Award by Creative Time New York, the Chamberlain Award, finalist of the Rolex Prize, and the Baltic Arts Award. He is founder and board member of the World Alliance of Nomadic Pastoralists and coordinator of the European Shepherds Network.
