REFRAMING (VITI)CULTURAL LANDSCAPES IN AND AROUND PARIS

Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne is co-leader of this Convivum sub-project, and being situated in Paris provides many opportunities for learning about and engaging in discussions about sustainable wine futures, even when we are not on fieldwork locations. From talking to innovative and often rebellious winemakers at tasting salons like “Sous les pavés la vigne” to exploring the ecological jardin and its vines among companion species at the Jardin des Plantes, to giving a talk (Jenny Herman at The American University of Paris) to attending talks on Speculative Futures about wine and sustainability, the city provides endless opportunities to deepen our research!
