Its main objective is to empower individuals and families to document, share, and communicate their culinary traditions, ensuring that diverse food narratives are recognized and celebrated. The FFH digital platform serves as a repository for family food heritage. This initiative emphasizes a citizen science approach, inviting contributions from the community to enrich collective understanding of food practices and narratives. Citizens are actively involved in the design and creation process, emphasizing their role as co-researchers and storytellers. The overarching goal is to foster intercultural dialogue and enhance awareness of citizens’ around the world diverse culinary identities. The Family Food Heritage Solution seeks to create a platform for individuals and communities to take ownership of their food narratives, fostering a rich tapestry of shared cultural heritage across Europe.
