CONFERENCE ON FOOD AND DRINK STUDIES
From the 11th to the 13th of June several CONVIVIUM members visited the city of Tours, in France, to participate in the 10th International Conference on Food and Drink Studies, hosted by our partner the IEHCA. Our consortium organized two sessions, titled “Reimagining food heritage from anchoring to co-evolution” and “Designing solutions for a sustainable impact of (food) heritage in Europe”. These sessions presented the rationale and main concepts behind our venture, and some of our ongoing actions, grounded in synergies between traditional practices and current technological developments.
Session 15 was moderated by Carmen Soares and included presentations by CONVIVIUM members Raúl Matta, Jenny Herman, and Carmen Soares. Session 21 was moderated by Loïc Bienassis and featured Claudete Moreira, João P. Gomes, Virginie Amilien, Katerina Medbøe Eriksen, Maiken Lønnerød, Justyna Jakubiec, and Kevin Lai.
