We present the leaders of the teams participating in the CONVIVIUM project, responsible for the implementation of the project tasks. In several episodes, we will present people from different countries, scientific centers and cultural institutions who share a common passion for food, healthy nutrition, social integration, cultural heritage, art, architecture, nature in urban space, local activities and intercultural exchange – in other words, everything that the CONVIVIUM.NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS SOLUTIONS IN FOOD, LIVING HERITAGE, AND CONVIVIALITY project involves.

Meet Rick Dolphijn from the Utrecht University.

Rick Dolphijn is a writer, educator, and curator, currently serving as Associate Professor at the Department of Media and Culture Studies, Humanities, Utrecht University. His research focuses on continental philosophy, especially the works of Gilles Deleuze and Michel Serres, as well as posthumanism, new materialism, material culture (including food studies), and ecology. Within CONVIVIUM, Rick contribution builds on his expertise in philosophy, ecology, and food studies, as well as his experience in international collaborations such as Food2Gather and IMAGINE. He is also co-developing the More-Than-Human Studies Lab at Utrecht University, in partnership with the University of Gdańsk.
