CO-CREATION IN PRACTICE

We at Circular Ways are truly grateful to be part of Convivium. We don’t often collaborate closely with academia, but in this project we are given the opportunity to further develop our method while working alongside inspiring colleagues in Norway from OsloMet and Nord University.

It’s exciting to experience how collaboration, experimentation, and time spent together create new languages and unexpected combinations of our approaches—perhaps even something entirely new.

As the steward of the Surplus Table, I find that encounters with other practices like Hybridforum and the Utopia Workshop deepen my understanding of what the Surplus Table can be. It reminds me that we all need to adapt, listen actively, let go of control, and allow things to unfold.

Co-creation is demanding, but also refreshing and inspiring. It enables us to reach new people—and non-humans—wherever we go.

In June, we will also be working with the Convivial Table, which we are very much looking forward to.

Here are some glimpses from the community houses in Napp and Kabelvåg.
