Intercropping Revisited

Intercropping Revisited is a two-day art-and-design-based, collaborative event, aimed at leveraging the cultural and aesthetic significance of intercropping to build trust and create a shared vision for agro-ecological futures.

Comprising round tables, participative artistic performances, hands-on experience, exhibitions, and speculative design and storytelling, the event will build the foundation for beautiful, diverse, and thriving agro-ecological landscapes which can be appealing to visitors, appreciated and cared for, while creating awareness among new generations of the possibilities of “hybrid cultures” through the revitalization of intercropping and its adaptation to different production situations. The event will be adapted to be replicated in all the project locations. Target groups are local communities, farmers and growers, sustainable tourism stakeholders, and policy-makers.
