One of the key values of the CONVIVIUM project – The Beuchaus New Solutions – is conviviality: being together, sharing experiences, and creating through collaboration. That is why nothing makes us happier than the opportunity to meet again as the CONVIVIUM family – not only to work on project activities, but also to talk, connect, and get to know each other better. These moments undoubtedly strengthen our cooperation and contribute to the quality of the work carried out by all project partners.

We have already met in Portugal (January 2025) and Poland (October 2025) – and now it is time for Norway!

Lofoten is a truly extraordinary place. From the very first moment, it captivates with its beauty and invites us to discover it, while also showing its wild and demanding character. Despite the rain and wind, it is impossible not to be enchanted by the magical nature of this northern land.

We are hosted in Lofoten by Museum Nord, a CONVIVIUM project partner. The CONVIVIUM Meeting in Lofoten takes place from 22–26 June and combines project meetings, workshops, field visits, and shared experiences focused on food heritage, local traditions, sustainability, and convivial approaches.

The programme includes partner presentations and General Assembly discussions, workshops, visits exploring Lofoten’s food traditions – including stockfish heritage and Viking food culture – as well as activities related to family food heritage, local food systems, urban gardening, and sustainable practices. The meeting will also include a final conference and collaborative workshops bringing together different perspectives on food, culture, landscapes, and conviviality.

The first moments are already behind us – including the welcoming evening of the CONVIVIUM family. Ahead of us are several inspiring days full of collaboration, discovery, and shared experiences in the unique landscapes of Lofoten.
